Jackie is our Enterprise Co-ordinator has more than 30 years experience in business and enterprise and, in addition to establishing and running a number of businesses, she has been CEO of three enterprise development agencies including the UK’s first women’s enterprise centre (Wellpark). She is passionate about helping people to realise their potential through enterprise, and was awarded an MBE for services to enterprise in 2008.
As our GrowBiz Peer Support Co-ordinator, Joyce is an ICF accredited coach and qualified trainer. She runs her own coaching business in Blairgowrie. Joyce gained a degree in English from Aberdeen University, then qualified and worked as a primary teacher, before teaching in Kenya with VSO; she then spent 20 years working with adults with learning disabilities. In 2008 she set up her own business, with support from GrowBiz. She was a member of the initial GrowBiz peer support group before successfully bidding for the contract as peer support co-ordinator. She has had a lifelong enthusiasm for enabling people to make connections and discover and use their talents – so working with GrowBiz is a joy.
Our Enterprise Advisor, Alan is an experienced adviser, with expertise in business development, business strategy and Intellectual Property.
A Chartered Accountant with his own business, Mark is our Finance Administrator. He already works with a number of local small businesses, and in addition to running a farm, is the proud father of four daughters.
Alison, who is our Administrator, runs her own business providing admin and marketing support to local businesses and organisations.
