Event: GrowBiz XChange Networking Event - Birnam
Join us for a chance to network and hear from our speakers on the ever popular theme of Food & Drink
|Thu 26 Apr 2018
Our April XChange has a theme which we are sure will appeal to all - Food and Drink.
Our main speaker is Fiona Grant from Glenlyon Coffee Roasters.
Set up in 2011 at the top of Glenlyon, this artisan roastery is now based in Aberfeldy where they roast up some of the world’s finest beans. Working closely with farmers and cooperatives in more than 12 countries their speciality arabica beans are typically shade grown at between 1400-2000m above sea level and hand-picked when ripe. Committed to zero waste as well as recycling they donate coffee chaff (a by-product of roasting) to chicken farms and send any long dated coffee to Fair Share Charity, for distribution to homeless centres across Scotland. See www.glenlyoncoffee.co.uk for more details
We'll also have a panel of local producers for a Q & A Session including:
Flora Shedden, Aran Bakery - www.aran-bakery.com/
Henry Murdoch, Taymouth Courtyard - www.taymouth.co.uk
George Blues , Strathearn Cider Company - www.strathearncider.co.uk/
Charlotte Flower, Chalotte Flower Chocolates - www.charlotteflowerchocolates.com/
There will be a buffet from 6.00. and an opportunity for informal networking.
