GrowBiz XChange Networking Event - Blairgowrie

The August GrowBiz XChange networking event celebrates the 2018 Year of Young People.  Hosted by Blairgowrie High School the event will focus on enterprise opportunities for young people and how local businesses can get involved.

Our speakers for the evening include:

  • Bev Leslie, Head teacher at  Blairgowrie High School
  • Sam Greer, Skills Development Scotland Sam will provide an overview of SDS and talk about the Skills for Growth program, a free service for small businesses with between 5 and 250 employees.  Skills for Growth  combines a free skills analysis with support and guidance to match their skills and people needs with their business objectives.
  • Rheanna Thom, Blairgowrie Vets who will share her story of work experience.
  • Grant Murdoch from Coupar Angus Cycle Hub, a cycling project that has been running for over 5 years.

We're also delighted to have our youngest entrepreneur, 8 year old Amelia Milton from Bridge of Cally presenting her business, SmelleezSoap She has developed a range of soap and bath products and her latest innovation is ‘soap for dogs’

The evening will start at 6pm with a buffet and networking and will provide a great opportunity to meet other local businesses and hear from experts in their field.
