Event: GrowBiz XChange Networking Event - Crieff

Our June XChange Networking Event will take place in Crieff, and has a Tourism theme.

When Where
Thu 28 Jun 2018
6:00pm–8:30pm

The GrowBiz XChange networking event on Thursday in Crieff is all about tourism – with a focus on sustainability and new opportunities.

Our speaker is Caroline Warburton, who’s the Regional Leadership Director (East) for Visit Scotland and a director of the Responsible Tourism Partnership. She’s a sustainable and nature tourism professional, with a broad range of experience in the public, private and voluntary sectors of the tourism industry.

Caroline was formerly the National Tourism Strategy Coordinator for the Scottish Tourism Alliance where she was responsible for overseeing the delivery of Scotland’s national tourism strategy, Tourism Scotland 2020. Prior to that role, she ran Wild Scotland, Scotland’s nature and wildlife tourism association, which promotes and supports wildlife and nature tourism companies.

We’ll also have a panel session featuring local tourism business owners, including Brenda Roddy from Jessie Mac’s – an award-winning luxury hostel in Birnam.

Kicking off at 6pm with a buffet and networking, the presentations will start around 6.45. XChange evenings are informal and friendly – and a great opportunity to meet other local businesses and hear from experts in their field.

Whatever business sector you’re in, this will be an interesting event – come along and bring a friend!
