The WEN meetings are informal and friendly – even if you're just thinking about starting a business, come along and be inspired. All welcome to come along. The evening starts off with a buffet from 6.00 p.m.
At our November WEN we have speakers talking on Finances – RBS, Free-Agent and Crowd Funding
Emma Miller from the Royal Bank of Scotland will explain her role as a Business Growth Enabler and how she can help support business customers. She will also provide information on what RBS can offer you as a business owner including local events and talk about their affiliated accounting program, Free-Agent.
Jennifer Lindsay-Finan uses Free-Agent as her accounting software and will give an user's perspective of the benefits an online package can bring to your business.
Ros Marshall and Kirsty Lunn from Molke ran a very successful crowdfunding campaign earlier this year and will share their experiences of the benefits and challenges such a campaign can bring.
Emma Miller has worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland for 12 years. Progressing from cashier to branch manager she then moved in to Commercial banking and now works as a Business Growth Enabler. Her current role involves supporting local businesses, from opening their first bank account; arranging lending; right through to helping sustain businesses or help them grow. She does this by connecting relevant people and also hosting local events.
