Business owners are bombarded with opportunities to invest time and money in new ways that promise to help grow their business. Entrepreneurs are conditioned to always be doing more. We celebrate activity and action. How many times a week do you tell people you're "busy, but it's good busy".
However, there are negative impacts to the "do this, do that, do more" approach that aren't always acknowledged and discussed. In over a decade of coaching micro-entrepreneurs, business coach and GrowBiz Enterprise Facilitator Andy Lambert, has seen the downsides that the "good busy" mentality can have on both business owners' mental health and their ability to achieve their dreams. Andy has developed his coaching approach to encourage business owners to slow down to gain more momentum.
Andy has seen how the pressure to always be taking action can lead to feelings of overwhelm. Overwhelm leads to paralysis and this leads to a failure to achieve the promised successes. The cumulative effect of this leads to self-judgment which results in trying to "do more" and so the vicious cycle continues to bite.
Even if you don't consider yourself "overwhelmed", slowing down and really thinking about why you're doing what you're doing isn't a luxury, it's a necessity for growing your business.
In this interactive two hour session lead by Andy you will be challenged to think about what actions you're taking in your business. You are going to look at what you're doing currently and learn new frameworks to evaluate the trade-offs you need to be making. You will leave the session with more focus and confidence in order to grow your business and achieve more.
This event will take place online via zoom.
