Net Zero - Inspiration from Comrie Croft

Join us in person at at the iconic Comrie Croft to hear Andrew Donaldson talk about the positive impact of climate action and sustainability on his business and the route he’s taking to reach Net zero as an achievable goal. His inspiring story will challenge you to think creatively about your business' climate action.

Andrew says:

"At Comrie Croft our overarching goal is regenerative impact - to make things better, not just less bad. To thrive, not just survive! It’s a holistic thing that includes prosperity and opportunities for our team and community, the natural environment on the farm, the quality of food and flowers we produce, and our wider impacts such as on the climate. The aim is for all our impacts is to minimise the negative, grow the positive and ensure balance. For me, it’s about my family, my community, the land, and the nature around me. It’s about good jobs and profitable enterprises. About young people being able to live and work in rural Scotland. About physical and mental health. About rural culture and being a good neighbour. It’s about good food and trees and all the multitude of things that farms can provide - including sharing inspiring experiences of farming! It’s also about the climate. These things are not separate. Our farms provide opportunities not just to contribute to Net Zero but to make life fantastic!”

This event is funded by SSE for rural businesses in Perth and Kinross.
