RURACTIVE Workshop 2: Learning from Others

GrowBiz and the James Hutton Institute are delighted to host a Workshop for the RURACTIVE project, funded by the European Union and United Kingdom Research and Innovation. RURACTIVE is a European-wide project that aims to create better connected, prosperous, resilient and strong rural communities.

This Workshop is an opportunity for people to help GrowBiz and the James Hutton Institute identify solutions to some of the biggest challenges facing our rural communities today and in the future. Solutions can be anything from building an online platform to promote and sell the work of rural artisans, to a Medical Bus that travels to rural communities allowing patients to attend online appointments and check their own vital signs. We will spend time delving into a catalogue of solutions already deployed and having a positive impact in rural communities across Europe and use them to inspire us and find solutions that address our challenges.

Join us at this workshop and help us make a real difference to our rural communities in Scotland.
