Calculating your Social Value - Peer Support Group for Social Enterprises

Hillcrest Homes (Hillcrest Housing Association) has developed an impact measuring tool that can be used from the start of a project and then measure the impact to convert that change into a monetary value. It was used to great effect during the COVID pandemic to measure project outcomes in Dundee.

Nick Kassam and Michael McLaughlin will introduce the SFHA Social Value Toolkit, and why Hillcrest Homes had been looking for a user friendly measurement tool. The event will show the importance of evidencing your Organisations’ impact when applying to funders and how the HACT social value bank calculator was developed. (HACT is the housing sectors ideas and innovation agency).

The toolkit was developed by Michael McLaughlin, Social Insight Lead, as part of the Impact Project Team within SFHA’s Innovation and Future Thinking Programme and provides practical methods to show the additional value of the social housing sector. SFHA Social Value Toolkit and calculator can be used by any Organisation and is being developed for wider use.

PK SEG meetings welcome all Social Enterprises in Perth and Kinross - please only a book a place if your Enterprise is Perth and Kinross based.

This event will take place online via zoom.
