Highlights from Regional EDGE for Perth & Kinross
Five businesses took away awards of between £10k and £50k at the first Perth & Kinross Regional Edge finals on Monday 24 February
The fantastic event held at Perth Civic Hall saw five of the twelve finalists walk away with prizes:
Enriched Being Microgreens and Little Birdie Coffee each received awards of £10,000
£15,000 each was awarded to Bookr and Nowhere Sauna
The main £50,000 prize went to Selaura, a nutritional supplement to support the symptoms of peri-menopause and menopause
The evening included a welcome from Perth & Kinross Provost, Xander McDade, and a keynote address from First Minister of Scotland, John Swinney MSP. GrowBiz Co-CEO Jackie Brierton spoke about the importance of supporting the rural economy and EDGE 25 winner Helen Stewart of Fair Feast shared her thoughts on going down business 'rabbit holes.'
The competition judges were Mark Scott of Bella and Duke, Kirsty Lunn of Molke, and Charlotte Blackler of Mena—all previous EDGE winners—as well as GrowBiz Co-CEO Gordon Hector.
