Research and Development Grants

Businesses in areas of Scotland covered by Scottish Enterprise may be eligible for funding towards researching and developing a new product, process or service, or significantly improving an existing one.

Small or medium-sized enterprises could receive a grant to cover between 35% and 50% of their eligible project costs. The minimum grant considered is £150,000.
