‘Enterprise Iain’ and Local Businesses Will Talk Sales at GrowBiz Networking Event

Times are difficult for many self employed business owners, and increasing costs leads to the need for increased income. GrowBiz is addressing this need with a special ‘sales’ focused session of its popular XChange networking event, which will include advice on how to find and retain customers.

GrowBiz CEO, Jackie Brierton, will be joined by guest speaker Iain Scott, known as Enterprise Iain, an experienced and stimulating speaker who is always full of witty yet sensible advice. With more than thirty years experience supporting business owners with his unique take on things, he aims to make you think, make you laugh and make you believe in yourself.

Also joining the session will be two local business owners: Will Stockham, from the Dunkeld Whisky Box, an independent whisky and craft beer shop, and Samantha Weir, from Karelia House, a knitting, sewing and crafting shop. Both have diversified their businesses to sell through multiple avenues and will be sharing their stories and what they've learnt along the way.

Jackie says, “GrowBiz is very aware that many small businesses and self-employed people are struggling at the moment, with rising expenditure making it difficult for some to keep going. Support for these businesses is needed more than ever, and we hope this event will provide a boost for attendees and a starting point in dealing with some of the challenges they’re facing.”

The Selling for Rural Scotland XChange Event will take place on Thursday, 28 July at 6pm over Zoom. GrowBiz events are free and interactive, and there will be opportunities to connect with other attendees and ask questions. Book your ticket at www.growbiz.co.uk/events
